Call for papers - Worksop behavioral finance, accounting and auditing
CALL FOR PAPERS

Recent years have witnessed a growing number of empirical and theoretical contributions in behavioral finance, accounting, and auditing. Within these fields, researchers increasingly rely on experimental methods to strengthen causal inference, improve the robustness of their findings, and gain deeper insights into individual decision-making processes. Despite this growing interest, opportunities for researchers using experimental approaches to exchange ideas and discuss methodological issues remain limited.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers in behavioral finance, accounting, and auditing who employ experimental methods in their research.
It provides a forum for presenting ongoing work, discussing methodological challenges, and fostering collaborations across disciplines.

We welcome submissions based on any form of experimental methodology, including laboratory experiments, field experiments, online experiments, experimental economics, neuroeconomics, eye-tracking, and other behavioral or neuroscientific approaches applied to finance, accounting, or auditing.
We invite researchers to submit papers at any stage of development related to finance, accounting, or auditing that employ an experimental approach.

A keynote lecture on experimental methods will be delivered by Victor S. Maas (University of Amsterdam), who is the editor of Behavioral Research in Accounting.

Accepted submissions will be considered for publication in a special issue of FCS (Finance Contrôle Stratégie) under the thematic of experiments in Finance, Accounting and Auditing.
