Afiteju OKWUTE, Doctorante en Stratégie

Titre de la thèse : "Rethinking Dirty Work: Institutions and the Reproduction of Marginalized Status" . Menée dans le cadre d'un partenariat avec emlyon business school.

Afiteju OKWUTE est doctorante en Sciences de Gestion au sein du Laboratoire de recherche Magellan @iaelyon et de STORM Research Center, emlyon business school.

Afiteju OKWUTE is a graduate of the Master’s degree in International Management and Sustainability at SciencesPo Paris.

Her prior experiences working for nonprofits and on corporate social programs, coupled with a background in management and strategy, have inspired her current interests in sustainability, social entrepreneurship, marginalised occupations and populations. Afiteju ventured into an academic career in a quest to find solutions that profit business and society. 

The thesis  is titled "Rethinking Dirty Work: Institutions and the Reproduction of Marginalized Status" under the supervision of Prof. Bernard FORGUES, emlyon business school.

This research bridges the Sustainable Performance Thematic Research and the CREATE Thematic Teams. It falls largely under the Socio-Economic Management disciplinary research group
 
Afiteju’s dissertation focuses on dirty work and stigmatised occupations to understand how institutions and organisations shape inequality. She has recently completed a Master's of research degree as part of her ongoing PhD at emlyon and has joined a collaborative doctoral program with iaelyon.
