Visiting professor: Laure Cabantous, Bayes Business School – University of London (United Kingdom)

Laure Cabantous will teach at iaelyon during the 2nd week of May 2022 about “Paradigms and qualitative research methods” for the PhD students at the Economic and Management Sciences Doctoral School during their international seminars. Laure Cabantous often speaks for the doctoral school and the Magellan Research Center.

Laure Cabantous is Professor of Strategy and Organization at Bayes Business School, City, University of London. She is also Affiliated Professor at HEC Montreal. In her research, Laure uses a performative lens to study how practitioners use models and tools to make decisions. She also studies decision-making practices, at the organisational and the individual levels, with a specific interest for the management of risk and uncertainty, and the interplay between intuition and analysis. Her research has been published in many scientific reviews and books.

Previously, Laure worked at Warwick Business School, ESCP Europe, Nottingham University Business School, and the Centre for Decision Research at Leeds University Business School.
