Andrea Carrisi : visiting Assistant Professor
Andrea Carrisi is Assistant Professor of Economic Law at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Department for Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition. He holds a Ph.D. in Markets, Business and Consumers from Roma Tre University.
His research focuses on the regulation of financial markets and sustainable economic transition. He examines how legal frameworks and enforcement mechanisms shape the functioning and legitimacy of financial markets. His current interests include the evolving relationship between efficiency, effectiveness, and justice in European market regulation, in response to the challenges of ecological and social transitions.
He is the author of I contratti ibridi nei mercati finanziari – The Hybrid Contracts in Financial Markets (ESI, 2023) and has published in leading Italian law journals (Rivista di diritto bancario, Rivista trimestrale di diritto dell’economia, Rivista trimestrale di diritto pubblico, Diritto del mercato assicurativo e finanziario, etc.). During his research stay at Magellan, Andrea contributes to the BAC4SHC project, which explores how Business Angels and Crowdinvestors support startups’ human capital through financial and non-financial means.
His research focuses on the regulation of financial markets and sustainable economic transition. He examines how legal frameworks and enforcement mechanisms shape the functioning and legitimacy of financial markets. His current interests include the evolving relationship between efficiency, effectiveness, and justice in European market regulation, in response to the challenges of ecological and social transitions.
